The Story Behind

Thread, fabric, collection: how one garment comes to life in Mauritius.

Shelves of thread cones in every colour in the atelier

01

Thread

Every piece starts here, among shelves of thread in every colour. Choosing the thread is choosing how a garment will feel: its weight, its fall, the way it moves.

02

Fabric

Thread becomes cloth, and cloth becomes a print. This indigo stripe, finished with a deep border, was chosen for the way it moves on the body. The border is already the hem.

Collection

Cut, sewn and finished in Mauritius, the fabric takes its place in the collection: a halter-neck jumpsuit where the stripes run long and the indigo border falls exactly at the hem.

From the first thread to the last stitch, every piece is made for the person who wears it.
